Bad credit can be as detrimental and devastating to a family as any tragedy. But with time, planning and perseverance any bad situation can be over come and that is why we are here.
We know that just because someone has bad credit it doesn’t mean that they are a bad person. We offer a full line of bad credit mortgages including new home purchases, home equity loans, and refinance loans.
At Bradford Mortgage we treat Bad credit mortgages the same as regular mortgages. Most of the time we can approve you, with only a slightly higher interest rate. Options for bad credit mortgages include fixed and variable rates, 15 and 30 year terms and other options such as balloon or jumbo loans.
There are always many pertinent questions to ask when trying to obtain a mortgage with bad credit, but the biggest one we always get is – Will I get approved?
As we tell all out clients the short answer is, yes. We work with lenders all across the country to make sure that we find you the right mortgage no matter what. If you want to find out what your interest rate will be, contact us and we will have a qualified mortgage specialist get you a personalized quote.
It is also good to note that Fannie Mae and the National Foundation for Consumer Credit are organizing a plan that gives consumers who have had previous credit problems the chance for homeownership. The two groups say that if you’re enrolled in an “approved debt management program with intensive counseling,” you can have the opportunity to become a homeowner through Fannie Mae-approved lenders in 13 metropolitan areas.
Credit Card Interest vs. Mortgage Interest
No mater what you are using your bad credit mortgage for, it will always beat any other option available for you. If you are looking to buy a new house, buying is always better then renting. If you want to refinance and consolidate your credit card debt, mortgage interest rates will always be lower when compared to 20%+ interest rates on credit cards.
